The order it happens in
- Interior firstEverything comes out. Mats, trash, whatever has been living under the seats. Then a full vacuum, then shampoo and hot water extraction on the carpets and cloth, then steam on the vents and seams a brush cannot reach.
- Then the washTwo buckets, top down, wheels and wheel wells last so the grit never touches the paint. Bug and tar spots worked off the front end by hand. Dried with clean microfiber, never left to air dry and spot.
- Then decontaminationPaint that feels rough is holding rail dust and road grit in the clear coat. That comes out before anything gets applied, because wax over contamination just seals it in.
- Then waxHand-applied, worked in panel by panel, buffed off by hand. Trim and tires dressed. Glass cleaned inside and out at the end so nothing gets re-fingerprinted.

Full Detail questions
How long does it take?
An exterior hand wash is 35 minutes and a wash with wax and sealant 45 minutes. A basic interior runs 1 hour and a deep interior 2 hours. A full detail is 2.5 hours, and a full detail with protection 2 hours 40 minutes. We book arrival windows rather than exact start times so a job that runs long does not make the next customer wait in the dark.
Is the Protect version of the full detail worth the extra?
It is if the vehicle lives outside, and around here most of them do. The Full Detail cleans everything and waxes the paint. Full Detail + Protect does all of that and then layers protection over it: a paint sealant on top of the wax, a ceramic spray on top of that, fabric protectant on the carpets and cloth seats so the next spill sits on the surface long enough to blot, leather conditioned where the vehicle has it, and the glass sealed so rain beads and moves. If the vehicle is garaged and you are cleaning it up for a sale, the standard full detail is the one.
Why do third rows and extended cabs cost more?
Because they are more seating and more carpet, and both of those are time. A third row means another bench to pull apart, vacuum, shampoo and dry, and an extended cab means the same behind the front seats. It is a set surcharge, it is the same figure whatever the vehicle, and the booking page adds it to the total in front of you when you tick the box rather than appearing on the bill afterwards.
What do you need from me on the day?
A parking spot with a few feet of room on each side of the vehicle, and the keys. Everything else — water, power, the machines, the products, the towels — comes with us. If you are not going to be home, leave the keys somewhere we can find them and text us where.
What happens if it rains?
Interior work goes ahead in almost any weather. Exterior work needs the vehicle to be dry enough to wash and dry properly, so if the forecast is bad we will call you the day before and move it rather than do a job that will not hold. There is no charge for a weather reschedule.
How do I pay?
Payment is due when the work is finished, not when you book. We will confirm the exact total with you before we start, and it will match the number the booking page gave you unless you add something on the day.
